After she died yet again, Kikyou stumbled across her and brought her to life again. She wanted to die, and hated to make the clay warriors who were destroying people. After encountering the InuYasha gang, she decides to give life a chance. |  |
 | Enju was found alongside the river bank by Kikyou, who revived her by giving some of her sould to Enju. Instead of being thrilled, Enju is mad at being brought back to life by Kikyou, so she leaves in a whirlwind of flames. Later, clay warriors come after Enju and try and drag her back to her "brother", but is saved by InuYasha. |
| We find out that Enju is actually the one making the clay warriors. She was brought back to life by the evil sorceress, Urasue, and was forced to make clay warriors who were used to attack and kill people. After making clay warriors for so long, Enju decides that she has had enough and runs away. Luckily, she is protected by InuYasha and his group while she confronts her "brother". |  |
 | Enju confesses that she wanted to die, then makes a promise to Kagome that if they get out of the fight alive, she will give life a chance, and of course they defeat the demon from hell. Enju receives one last soul from Kikyou, lays her "brother" to rest, and returns to making pottery; no more clay warriors. |
