 | We first meet Hitomi while Kagome takes InuYasha to the store to stock up on food for their upcoming journey to find Naraku. Souta is spotted looking at flowers, and Kagome, being the nosey person that she is, waits and spies on Souta until she sees Souta hiding behind a flower to escape Hitomi's gaze. Upon getting home, Souta seeks |
| out InuYasha's aid. Souta questions InuYasha on who said "I Love You" first, and finds out that neither of them has said it. InuYasha is of course embarassed about the whole thing, but grudgingly agrees to let Souta practing saying I love you. It's all amusing and such until Kagome comes out and decides to help Souta ask Hitomi out. She dresses him up and sends him off to ask her after school. |  |
 | It takes a couple of tries, and some courage building by InuYasha (where he makes Souta do "Iron Reaver Soul Stealer" for a few minutes), Souta is finally able to bark up enough courage and asks Hitomi if she will be his girlfriend. She agrees, and they hug. Awwww. InuYasha is dragged along with Kagome, they witness the hug and look at each other, then look away embarassed. Maybe another time. |
