Site History and Credits
Well, this site has been through a lot. Currently, I am the third owner. Whoo! The original creator was Purpleangel, and the second owner was Riley, who was kind enough to let me adopt this fanlisting in November of 2006.

The images on the layout were all screencapped by me from my DVDs. No, I didn't mispell "unforgettable" if you were wondering.

Part I; Episode 57
The episode starts off with Kagome acing a math test, receiving a perfect score. This is abnormal for her, since she is really bad with math. It turns out that she was actually dreaming, and wakes up in feudal times. The following morning, Kagome asks Inuyasha if she can go home for three days, because she has an exam she has to take. Inuyasha refuses, but Sango then says that she needs to return to her village to get Hiraikotsu repaired. He finally gives in saying they only have three days, and Sano leaves on Kirara.

The screen turns to Inuyasha, Kagome, Miroku and Shippou. It begins to get really foggy, and then Shippou notices something strange in the river. He picks up the pink fruit, only to find out that they are human face fruits from a demon tree. Kagome says they had better check it out.

We are now with an older man, who is running away. He bumps into just the person he was running from, which was a very large man who did not seem human. He is the sage Tokajin, and he asks him if this is how he plans on repaying him after Tokajin saved him from hunger and war. The man says he no longer wants to be a sage, but Tokajin absorbs him into a bottle at his hip. He claims this will be great nourishment for the demon tree, Ninmenka.

The inugumi minus Sango and Kirara arrive at a cliff, and they see the demon tree from the bottom. Inuyasha starts up the cliff, saying he wasn't going to spend all day carrying them up there. Shippou reminds Kagome that that night was the new moon, meaning Inuyasha would lose his demon powers and turn human temporarily. This was the reason he was in a huge rush.

Inuyasha gets to the top, and asks Tokajin if he was the one creating all the human face fruit. Tokajin asks why he cares, and what he wants, and Inuyasha goes to attack him with Tetsusaiga...that gets repelled by his fat stomach. Inuyasha finds that everything is suddenly a lot bigger, and Tokajin said he was just getting smaller. Looking to the side, he sees that Tetsuseiga is huge in comparison to himself, and Tokajin sucks him into the bottle as well.

In the mean time, Kagome and Miroku are trying to get to the top of the cliff on Shippou's giant pink ball form. Kagome is worrying about Inuyasha, and then Shippou apologizes because he can't go up anymore. They begin to fall, but Miroku saves Kagome and himself by throwing themselves to the side and landing in some trees, and then a staircase. Shippou throws himself over there as well, and they follow the stairs. The group overlooks a box and sees that it looks like a village, to then be startled there were men in there. Kagome realizes her jewel shards are getting bigger, but then Miroku says they were the ones getting smaller - and they are sucked in, leaving the jewel shards behind.

The screen goes back to Inuyasha, who doesn't have Tetsuseiga any longer. He tries to claw his way out, but then he turns into his human form and accidently touches the purple liquid inside Tokajin's bottle, crying out in pain.

Meanwhile, Tokajin is wondering why Tetsuseiga won't transform, and then he puts it against a wall with a lot of other old weapons. He sees Kagome's jewel shards on the ground, and puts the two shards in his belly button like the one he already had there.

Kagome, Miroku and Shippou see men meditating, and they try to ask what's going on. The group of men claim they were saved by Tokajin, and they were training to be sages. Miroku notices a samurai, and he tells them the story of how Tokajin became a slave to the demon tree, Ninmenka. The men were only training so hard to be used as fertilizer for the tree.

Inuyasha is trying to stay away from the purple water, and then his sheath starts to pulsate. He realizes it's trying to call Tetsuseiga, and he holds it out and commans Tetsuseiga to come to him. The sword begins to move, and then it lunges at the bottle, sticking firmly in. Tokajin looks confused, and tries to pull it out, making a hole for Inuyasha to escape out of. He returns to normal size once he is out of the bottle, and attempts to fight Tokajin. With his new jewel shard addition, Tokajin's skin turns to rock, and he body slams the defenseless human Inuyasha, crushing him into the ground.

The episode ends with Miroku and Shippou going to Kagome to tell her they are completely surrounded by walls, and there is no way to get out. Kagome reaches up the side of the wall saying they need to get out of this nightmare.

Part II; Episode 58
Inuyasha wakes up, tangled in very thick vines. Tokajin comments about how he realizes Inuyasha is a half demon, making all the better nourishment for the demon tree. Inuyasha's gaze falls on the small bottle Kagome keeps the jewelshards in, and demands to know where she is. Tokajin is surprised, not knowing there was a girl around. He says that Ninmenka loves women as well, and Inuyasha struggles against the vines telling him not to touch her. He gets deeply cut by them, and Tokajin tells him the more he struggles, the easier he'll be able to turn him into fertilizer. He thinks where he found the jewel shards, and concludes that Kagome is in his minivillage.

Shippou is seen putting bottles of hairspray under a rock from Kagome's backpack, and he uses kitsune-bi on them causing an explosion. Miroku uses his kazana to draw the rock toward him and pushes Kagome out of the way at the last second. This makes a hole in the side so they can escape. They see an eye in the sky, and Tokajin reaches in to take Kagome out. He makes a comment about having an unusual half demon, and Kagome automatically becomes fearless, demanding to know where he was, and threatened he would be sorry if Inuyasha was hurt. He just squeezes her in his hand, knocking her out. Tokajin says Kagome is filthy, and that she needed to be cleaned up.

Inuyasha is still struggling against the vines, but he knows he's already lost too much blood. Tokajin returns, surprised he is still alive and throws Kagome's clothes in the corner. This really gets Inuuyasha mad, and he demands to know what he has done with her. Tokajin says he can see right through Inuyasha, and that he is "in love with that filthy girl" and he would see her in his stomach. Miroku and Shippou climb out of Kagome's clothes, and he uses kazana again to break Inuyasha free from the vines. Rocks fall from the ceiling and it knocks Tokajin out. Miroku calls Inuyasha over to them, and he tells him that Kagome is in the basement.

Kagome is asleep in a bath filled with green water. She slowly wakes up, and then freaks out realizing she was naked, alone in the bath. Inuyasha bursts in, and she stands up and turns around. She was so glad to see him, she forgot she wasn't decent, causing Inuyasha to turn increadibly red. Kagome realizes her error, and throws herself back into the water, screaming. Inuyasha turns around facing the other way, glad that she is still alive. Kagome gets out, covering her chest asking if he's alright. He claims that they are only scratches and gives her his robe of the fire rat to cover up. Inuyasha tries to get up, but fails and falls over. Kagome falls to her knees next to him, and then leans against him saying he had been fighting so hard. Miroku and Shippou appear in Inuyasha's hair, causing Kagome to get embarrassed and she screams.

Kagome somehow makes an outfit out of the top part of Inuyasha's robe, and goes over to Inuyasha, who wakes up. He asks her if it's morning yet, but she replies it's still pitch dark outside. She notices a bow and arrow against the wall. She picks it up, thinking to herself she'll have to protect everyone until Inuyasha's powers come back. After they go outside, Kagome wonders how they'd be able to get down the cliff with Inuyasha in human form. He says he has a plan, but she yells no before Inuyasha can say it. He gets angry saying he hasn't even said it yet, and she replies that he'll tell her to escape by herself. She comments on how they have to get Miroku and Shippou back to their normal size anyway. They hear a voice, and look over to see a face of an old man on a flower. He says that he was Tokajin's teacher, but was not the one who made him a sage. Ninmenka was the one who did, by telling him to eat the human face fruit. Ninmenka told Tokajin to turn the old man into his current condition, and that's how he became fertilizer. Tokajin comes and throws a whip at Kagome - but Inuyasha jumps in the way, protecting her. He goes on about how humans are weak, and he did not want to grow old and die like both of his parents did. Kagome gets defensive, and Inuyasha says he can understand wanting to be more powerful, since he was a half demon. However, that's where their similarities end. Inuyasha lunges to get the jewel shards, but Tokajin pins him down. Kagome prepares to fire her arrow, but then the bow snaps in half from being so old. Inuyasha stabs Tokajin with a thorn in his eye, causing him to realize his grip from Inuyasha. The old sage uses the last of his power to turn into a bow and arrow, and Kagome shoots Tokajin from behind, knocking the jewel shards out and into the demon tree behind Inuyasha.

This causes Tokajin to get extremely mad, and he charges at Kagome, who no longer has a weapon. Inuyasha runs behind him, yelling for Kagome to get down. She ducks, and Inuyasha slams into Tokajin, causing them both to go over the cliff. Kagome runs to the side, screaming Inuyasha's name.

Tokajin and Inuyasha are falling, and he laughs saying Inuyasha will never survive the fall in his human form. Ninmenka comes alive with the jewel shards, and he grabs onto both Inuyasha and Tokajin. He absorbs Tokajin and almost Inuyasha, but then the sun rises and Inuyasha turn back to his half demon form. He kills Ninmenka, and lands on a ledge of the cliff, three jewel shards in hand.

Miroku and Shippou turn back to their normal sizes, and the demon tree looks dead. They figure Tokajin must be dead, and then they question about Inuyasha. Shippou say there was no way Inuyasha could have survived the fall in his human form, and the sun came up after he would have reached the bottom. Miroku said he did it to save Kagome, and she gets angry, shouting how could he be so stupid to do something like that in his human form. Miroku starts praying for him, and then Inuyasha comes asking them why they thought he had died when he was gone for five minutes. Kagome feels increadibly relieved, and then gets defensive telling him they were only worried about him. She goes up to him and grabs his kimono, and he tells her to stop blubbering. She shakes him, still holding on to his kimono saying she was not, and he said to stop crying then. She wails that she isn't crying, and they argue about that until Kagome tells him to sit.
