This episode of Naruto is powerful and so emotional, that it's one that I would personally recommend to anyone who has not seen Naruto.
I totally adore this episode. In fact, I would have to say that it is the most powerful episode in the entire series. You have a devastating scene where Haku and Zabuza are lying next to each other (I totally was bawling), and you watch as his enemy, Kakashi find it in his hear to carry Zabuza to Haku.
There are such powerful emotions in the episode, and that is what causes me to love it. First we have a scene where an enemy helps out another. (I always like it when people realize that they are fighting the wrong person. ) Then we have a scene where zabuza recognizes that haku meant a lot to him, and then chooses to fight for him, destroying his boss' men and his boss. A scene where a little boy stands up for his village in the light of his courageous father. (Courage is always something that I pride myself on. Without it nothing can be accomplished.) There is a sad scene where you witness how cruel humans can be (zabuza's boss breaking haku's neck), and then that is followed up by zabuza and haku lying next to each other when they are dying. Then of course the snow starts to fall to symbolize haku.
It's just so emotional throughout the entire episode that I just couldn't believe what was happening. I would have loved it if Zabuza could have lived on without Haku and then turned his love for Haku into something good, but that really wouldn't have been a good ending. It was more powerful to watch as her realized how he loved haku, and then how he fought for him, and died next to him.
I have to admit that I even liked Naruto's speech, and I loved watching as the meaning finally sunk into Zabuza. I was so happy when he asked naruto for his kunai, and I was amazed at how he could still fight with both of his arms broken.
