Making outlined-petz in Gimp is very easy, just follow these simple steps.

Open up your petz image in Gimp, like always, and select the magic wand tool (). You want to select the white area around your petz picture.



Now you want to go to select > shrink and enter in 2: Larger for bigger outline, smaller for smaller outline.



Next, invert your selection. Selection > Invert (ctrl + I).



And finally grab the paintbucket tool (), select your color and fill in the area between the dotted lines and your pet.



If you want to, you can then make the image transparent, or add it to a litter picture.
